Pick your letters — as many as you like. You’ll need one of our signature Slider Chains, designed to fit our charms perfectly.

Each charm is lined with silicone, so it glides easily and stays in place.

Not all charms are designed to work together. Here’s how to wear them:

Clip Charms
Spring-loaded clasp attached to the charm. Clip onto our Paperclip Chain, thread onto our Curb Chain, or wear on any standard chain.
Glide & Stack Charms
Silicone-lined ball attached to the charm. Designed exclusively to fit our Slider Necklace Chain or Bracelet — they won’t fit any other chain. Slide them on, stack them up, and they’ll lock into place.
Charms for Hoops
Designed for hoop earrings. Sold individually.

Mixing charm types? Not recommended, each is designed for its specific chain or style.

Our Gold Plating Guarantee

Every ORA gold-plated piece purchased from March 2025 comes with our 90-Day Shine Promise — if your jewellery fades or tarnishes within 90 days, we’ll re-plate it for free. We use a thick 14ct micron gold plating for a long-lasting, waterproof shine that’s made to stay beautiful.

Refresh Service

Natural fading can happen over time. We offer a Gold Plating Refresh Service at a discounted rate (around 15% of the replacement value). Shipping fees apply — just email hello@orajewellery.com to arrange it.

Metals We Use

— Solid 925 Sterling Silver, chosen for its durability and timeless shine.
— 9ct gold as standard; 14ct and 18ct available on request.
— Fine Italian Brass, polished to a bright finish. Over time, a natural patina may develop — easily restore its glow with a soft cloth and brass cleaner.

To keep your ORA piece shining for years, treat it with a little care and love. Simple habits — gentle cleaning, careful storage, and mindful wear — help maintain its beauty and integrity. Each piece comes with care instructions to guide you, so your favourites stay just as special as the day you chose them.

Exclusions

Your plating warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage, scratches, breakage, improper care, or lost items.

24-Month Craftsmanship Warranty

We stand by our craft. All ORA pieces purchased directly from our online store from March 2025 onward come with a 24-month warranty covering manufacturing defects — including structural issues with the metalwork.

Not Covered:

✗ Normal wear and tear (including fading or tarnishing of gold plating)

✗ Accidental damage, breakage, or misuse

✗ Scratches, bending, or impact damage

✗ Exposure to harsh chemicals (perfume, lotions, chlorine)

If you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect, email hello@orajewellery.com with your order number and clear photos. Our team will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or store credit where possible. For claims made after 30 days, our quality team will confirm next steps.

Returns

We want you to love your ORA piece.

If it’s not quite right, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or store credit.

Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with proof of purchase.

Return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer. We can arrange collection via our trusted courier at R100 one way, or R200 for collection and re-delivery.

Final Sale Items

Earrings (for hygiene reasons), engraved, personalised or customised pieces, discounted or sale items, and gift vouchers are final sale unless faulty.

We offer free shipping on all orders over R1500. For orders under R1500, shipping is a flat rate of R99.

Once your parcel leaves our Cape Town studio, you’ll receive a tracking number and estimated delivery date by email and WhatsApp. Standard shipping is 2 - 4 days. Express shipping (+R150) takes 24–48 hours nationwide.

Clip Charms have a clasp that opens and closes — designed to clip onto our Paperclip Chain, stack with other Clip Charms, or thread onto our Curb Chain (or any standard chain) as a classic necklace.

2. What are Slide & Stack Charms?

Slide & Stack Charms are silicone-lined charms that slide onto our Slider Chain or Bracelet and lock into place. They’re designed exclusively to wear with other Slide & Stack Charms. The Slider Chain is the only chain these charms work with, and they cannot be mixed with Clip Charms on the same necklace

No — they’re designed with different functions and won’t work together on the same chain or bracelet.

A Clip Charm opens and closes with a spring-loaded clasp.

A Glide & Stack Charm has a silicone-lined ball and glides onto a Slider Chain or Bracelet, locking into place.
