What is the return policy?
We want you to love your ORA piece.
If it’s not quite right, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or store credit.
Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with
Return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer. We can arrange collection via our trusted courier at R100 one way, or R200 for collection and re-delivery.
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable.
Free Gifts
Free gifts are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.
Please ensure your free gift appears in your cart and on your receipt before completing your purchase.
If your free gift is missing, you must notify us within 24 hours of purchase so we can assist and add it manually where applicable.
If no notification is received within this time-frame, it will be considered that the free gift was declined.
Warranty
All ORA jewellery is also covered by our 24-Month Craft Warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care, loss, or natural fading of gold plating over time. We do offer a paid replating service should you wish to refresh your piece.
Order changes or cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of purchase.
Where cancellation is possible, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to cover payment processing costs.
Are any purchases final sale?
Earrings (for hygiene reasons), engraved, personalised or customised pieces, discounted or sale items, and gift vouchers are final sale unless faulty.
When will I get my order?
**We do our best to ship your order as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that 9ct jewellery and engraved pieces may take a little longer — you can check the lead-time estimator on each product page for details.
Once your order is on its way, we’ll send you an email with tracking info.
We ship all orders with express delivery:
• 24 hours (1 working day) for main centres
• Up to 72 hours (3 working days) for outlying or rural areas**
Where are your products manufactured?
Our jewellery is proudly made right here in Cape Town, South Africa. We source our chains and findings from trusted manufacturing partners around the world — carefully selected for their quality craftsmanship and fair pricing.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping nationwide on all orders over R1500. For orders under R1500, a flat rate of R99 applies within South Africa.
International shipping is available at a flat rate of R750.
Will My Order Be Safe During Transport?
We use a trusted courier service to deliver your order safely to your door.
Every jewellery piece arrives in an ORA Jewellery pouch or box — perfect for gifting and ideal for keeping your jewellery safe when you’re not wearing it.
Our custom-made engagement rings come in a specially designed ring box to ensure they’re protected every step of the way.
All international orders are shipped from Cape Town, South Africa, with an official invoice stating the full value of your purchase in South African Rands. We’re unable to declare goods as gifts or lower the value, as this ensures transparency and protects both you and us in case of loss or unforeseen circumstances.
